No - that's the legal lettering. The operation is managed locally.
Doesn't Arriva Stevenage had 2 garages in the town??
It might be managed locally but the operations or commercial directors are based in Chelmsford .These are the people who make decisions.Local managers are just figure heads who cant do anything without permission.
Not correct. The Managing Director for Potteries is actually based in Leicester.
Yes they do have two depot Babbage Road and Norton Green Road. They are looking for new premises Norton Green i think the owner wants the land back as it is right in town .
Sorry to dig up and oldish thread, but while driving today I saw a 17-reg bus in the new livery on the 321 route. Does this mean Luton's got some new vehicles, and have any of the others been transferred over to Stevenage?
Many of the (now) Arriva Midlands depots (including Luton, Aylesbury etc) have received new E20D buses recently. It's unlikely to affect Stevenage as that is now within a different Arriva area.
I saw some new buses with white displays in Stevenage a couple of weeks ago. Forget what route number it was though.
Uno now operate in bedford/Milton Keynes, Northampton and I believe also oxford.
Just to add to the random route branding mis-mashes in the area last night I saw a 321 (Watford - Luton) branded Citaro on the 50 (Aylesbury - Halton Camp). Still at least that's reasonably close compared to the Kent branded Streetlites running in Stevenage.
