Are there any changes you would make to National Express routes

Why does 'something need to be done' [genuine question] - has coach travel increased so significantly ?

I'm only intrigued as VCS was always massively busy many years ago, and still coped.

Robert

As someone who's used VCS on and off since 1993 I'd say it's now much busier than it used to be. There's certainly a lot more companies using it, notably Megabus (also IDbus and various low frequency Polish coach companies).

I wouldnt mind a few additional services each day from Worcester to London with a later service.

The 507/508/509 London - Cardiff - Swansea/west wales services could be improved especially between London & Cardiff for example perhaps a service London arriving into Cardiff at around 0945 with a late evening service from Cardiff after 2100.

Nationall Express do use the Cardiff West services at Junction 33 on the M4 rather than run their coaches down to the city centre and back out via the A4232 & A48.

I guess possibly. In a similar vein I would have them all operated by Marco Polo bodied Mercs with cama class costing the same as it would for a 5 hour journey in certain South American countries, oh, and they all call at the end of my road when they reach Liverpool. The films shouldn't be badly dubbed in to Spanish though.:D

There are proposals for a coachway at Handy Cross junction on the M40, which is about 2 miles from the centre of High Wycombe.

Everyones a winner! Apart from me, I still want a coach stop by West Allerton Station!

Nearest you'll get if NEX ever decided to call services in that area would be Liverpool South Parkway Interchange.

I could cope with that. I doubt it would happen though, too far away from the motorway network, it would slow down any given service too much.
