Nope they couldn't - but they'd have replaced it when signs of wear began to show.![]()
Didn't you moan that your PC was getting slower over the past few weeks?![]()
Have to agree, Apple products seem to be very expensive and the average consumer would simply get a Windows laptop
Apple products are generally targeted at the higher end of the market.

Yet Microsoft aim for all over the market from the lower all the way to the higher creating what is the much loved variety.
You realise you've just said you're of a lower class?![]()

Hope you are not suggesting I am of a lower class![]()
Ever thought that maybe we don't feel the need to run two operating systems, when just one does everything we want it to? Also if Mac is so good then why would you want to run Windows anyway? You can run 2 operating systems without any problems with partitioning and booting! Good, eh? MS wouldn't have thought of that.![]()

I don't know, I have nothing to compare it to as I've not yet felt the desire to spend loads of money (well, a week's pocket money in your household) on something that I don't need just so I can say "I've got a Mac". I mean people such as myself and Loader can just walk into McDonalds and for a lot less buy a burger and say "I've got a Big Mac". 'The bigger the better' and all that...Ah, but is Windows really stable on the whole? It slows down a lot does it not?![]()
No - the only thing that'll make you 'cock it up' will be any incompetence you may have. The rest of us manage fine with the current computers as they do exactly what you tell them to (except the mouse curser occasionally flicking across the three screens, but then that's both rare and not going to make you cock anything up...).I'm happy that the place I'm about to start working has Windows. Makes a handy excuse when I cock it up.

Although that's an upgrade price by default as all macs come with Leopard. It's a bit of an unfair comparison between Windows and Mac. If you're just comparing the operating systems, then OS X is actually cheaper (£85 for Leopard vs £179 for Vista Home Basic).
I seem to remember countless times of clicking things you don't want to click just to click the thing you do want again or clicking things more than once, or closing and starting again to try and get the program in question to do something. No - the only thing that'll make you 'cock it up' will be any incompetence you may have. Didn't they tell you when you bought your Macbook that you had to become really smug and start wearing turtle neck shirts?I have a Mac, yet I don't hate your precious Windows.

What's everyone's problem with Mac?
I have a Mac, yet I don't hate your precious Windows.
Can't you just accept that Windows and Mac are different. They're both good for different things. Neither is better than the other. It's a matter of opinion, and what you want in a computer.
Don't like Macs? Don't get one.
GET OVER IT
Yes, a fresh version Loader.... I'm not sure many people format their computer daily
OS X hasn't really got slower in my experience, but that's probably due to the RAM Apple supply is normally more than required ...![]()
Yes, Windows slows down whereas Leopard generally speeds up after optimisation! Now a fresh version of Windows is as fast as any other OS.
