Re: Dalmuir - it's not as rough as the East end, but it's unstaffed and it's a long time to hang around there. You can find neds (chavs) in most areas of Glasgow, I'd be surprised if they hung around in the station - but it's possbile

Thought Dalmuir was staffed? Or is this at funny times of the day?

As long as he isnt there too early, there will be at least a couple of staff around, as the guard and driver for the sleeper change there.

got in and had a chat with the driver and guard for the sleeper. so passed the time on the station very quickly ")

on the sleeper now. going to get some rest

Good morning Everyone the Plan Has Changed after some careful re-working and deciding that i needed another piece of line in the stockport-chinley route. i have changed today's outlook.

0820 London Euston - Stockport (Have bought a Standard Single with my 16-25).

damn i thought stockport-staylybridge was thursday afternoonn dohhh "(

Now then. Have you scratched Stockport- Stalybridge? One train a week, Friday morning...Officially on the NR site I understand. No return train, but the crackin' Stalybridge station buffet for bangers and mash, with local black peas, and a fine choice of ales.
Depart on TP express east or west, plenty of trains.

I think you might want to do tight connections[with plan b back ups]tomorrow for Comic Relief.
