the 1657 Euston to GLC is 10overdue at Carstairs.. so are their problems around?

no I'm on the 2239 arrival. just the 3 terminaters from Birmingham,Euston and Euston all showing late over carstairs.

Lovely little village right on Morcambe Bay. 5mins North of Lancaster (not even that if on a train that doesnt stop). Youve got the level crossing and nice little signal box there.

Its more a residential village id say. Probably nicer villages nearby to stay in for a holiday. Certainly worth a visit though. Nice walks along the Canal and Morcambe Bay.

You've still got the 23:07 from GLC if you miss the 22:46, plus the 23:07 goes direct to Dalmur.

Sonic: Don't try it. It's that simple. Allowing for delays on the approaches, the +8 at PBO is one of the few recommended connections I would trust. You would be best looking for something else if you desperately want that HS1 bit to Gravesend.

It is a very expensive village. Hest bank is possibly the most expensive part of the area to live in.

Sonic. At PBO, dont you have an alternative to get to Ipswich if you miss the +3? If so, take that, then miss out Waterloo to Reading, just come straight back from Gravesend on HS1
