Another Problem on my ALR Journey

I'm still having my fingers crossed. the extra time at dundee was a wheelchair getting on. but hopefully were gonna rock into haymarket at 1422, a hop skip and jump to the next train..

Inbound A-B now 3 late from Drumgelloch, giving a short 4 min turnaround, assuming the 334s don't sit in Waverley for 35 mins?

the a and b just left caladercruix 5 mins down "), but only think is if the a+b is late on the inward, and then leaves late on the return leaves me less time to get from queen street to central..

Not a problem, you can walk it briskly in 10mins. Just avoid the 'chuggers' on Buchanan St! Start checking Bing maps for your route.

Not a problem, you can walk it briskly in 10mins. Just avoid the 'chuggers' on Buchanan St! Start checking Bing maps for your route.

What are the journey plans after you visit the Quacks tomorrow? One journey you could do if you fancy it is the Arriva Trains from Swansea to Fishgaurd & back to Swansea & change to the FGW to Padd.

that connection was such a tight one! the guard didnt open the doors until the 334 was just coming out of the tunnel. safe to say i got on. and have just left edinburgh park, on my way down a new stretch of line for me to glasgow queen street.. "). Flymo. Ive had over 4,000 views in under 24hours..

Been enthralled watching this over the last 24 hours, giving me the jitters over my 2 week ALR planned for september, i'm starting to rethink some of my plans as some of the connections are on the short side

i wouldnt its all in the fun of it. I'm doing my second ALR, and getting parts done i couldnt do on my first one.. Well there's gonna be 9 days of it ")

Your bound to miss soumething then. I never give myself tight connections, unless i have backups, and can still do all i want. Then again i wanted to spend more time in the places i was visiting.

Worse time for planning tight connections is on late night trains, were you could be stranded all night iif the train is late & yoiu miss the connection. Plus i don't enjoy the journey as much with worrying over making a tight connection.

Wil make sure i get on the 380s as well. Gonna be good.
Regarding any chuggers in Glasgow, just walk straight past. Another option, and its not as daft as it sounds, is to say something really really daft as they come up to you. By the time they have worked out what the hell you said, your past them. Somebody else i know does it, and it virtually always works.

Ditto. Hate it. Infact, if the connection is looking tight, id rather the train got delayed even more so there was no more worrying. Id know to head for next option.

Well if your train is late and you miss your service, then youve missed it!!!
I just dont like putting myself in tight situations unless i have a get out clause. Just in case i end up over night where i shouldnt be.
