Old iPhone apps will run, but aren't they just scaled up?

I also think you'll find that now most developers are starting to properly design apps for tablets, given Google has finally come up with some pretty good and strict design guidelines (and did so early last year). I am not sure Twitter has done much yet, but most others now have a totally different look in tablet mode, using up that extra screen space productively.

iOS still generates more revenue than Android (i.e. Apple owners spend more money). Part of that is because it's easier to do so, as well as the argument that iOS users are more affluent, but that's also changing and the general advice in the developer community is to concentrate efforts on Android.

In fact, the developers that take the risk and release something on Android first stand to make a shed load of money given Android's growing dominance and the fact that the new Play store makes it far easier to buy content, either on the device or via the web with the ability to auto install (and remove) apps.

Interesting choice of brand name, considering the dictionary definition of Android.......

— n
1. (in science fiction) a robot resembling a human being

— adj
2. resembling a human being

[C18: from Late Greek androeidēs manlike; see andro- , -oid ]

I have a few questions.
Do any of these devices resemble a human being ?
If so, are they ill ? If not, why would they need tablets anyway ?
What tablets are they, and how often must they be taken ?

Well my Android has never injured me although it's debatable whether its inaction has caused me harm. It's obeyed the orders I've given to it and is doing pretty well of protecting it's own instance so it's pretty safe to say it is a robot :D

Samsung are terrible for updates of Android though - in fact I dont think they have released Jellybean 4.2 for any of their models yet. I got mine instantly upon turning on me Nexus 7 last november.

You're probably right, i'm running 4.1.something.
It doesn't affect the brilliance of the phone though, and to be honest i'm not overly fussed about how quick i get the latest "update for the sake of an update"
