Not as such. What appears to have occurred is that a decision was made to make an ad-hoc alphabetical run of stations in Scotland, then a similar ad-hoc run of stations in the North-East leading to the current ad-hoc alphabetical run of stations in the North-West.

I do hope this answers the point you have raised.

We could actually have a 'Closed Stations' version of this game sometime in the future. We could do different stations in different companies' territory, or different 'Big Four' stations, or even 'BR Regional' stations. We could even do a version of that with open stations.

None of this would require or warrant another thread, we could just do our games like it.

But for now, we seem to be going through the country region by region. Yorkshire should really be next, before we do stuff like the Glasgow & South Western Railway network, or the Great Central Railway, etc..
