The main timetable and temporary timetable is for two trains per hourGoing to do this line on Sunday. According to the timetable its every half hour . Thought it was going to be hourly or have they not changed the timetable
Not so much due to the snow, but his gaff over insisting the response was first classI see Stewart Stevenson has resigned over the road chaos earlier this week
A few hours later drivers were spending a night stranded in Central Scotland
I see Stewart Stevenson has resigned over the road chaos earlier this week. I really don't think much more could have been done given the sheer amount of snow that fell and he really should have stuck it out - unless he escaped before the news broke of the reduced service to be operating on A-B at opening?
Good luck to all those who use and work on this new line.
The next transport minister then claim errors were made by the previous minister and is working on them; expect this same response for all the other transport issues for the next three monthspeople could very well be left behind at Blairhill (which would be really terrible publicity for the new line)

The emergency timetable appears to have made way for the standard timetable now
For the next two weekends this means quite a comprehensive Helensburgh - Edinburgh service
However, therafter it drops on a Sunday to hourly
Their main website isn't being updated on a daily basis which isn't helpingYet ScotRail only have the emergency timetable on their website for tomorrow
Details are very clear from the information currently available from the leaflets and posters :A shame that ScotRail are going to have reduce the service provision on A-B at weekends for no apparent reason
Or perhaps you're just wrong
Reasonably clear, except the new intermediate stations aren't open yet, as I understand it.

It was still showing other routes with the emergency timetable, in some cases no service yet trains were clearly running to full normal timetable

Details are very clear from the information currently available from the leaflets and posters :
every Sunday up until and including 19 December
The new Glasgow to Edinburgh via Airdrie-Bathgate line will have Sunday services commencing 12 December to Glasgow from Drumgelloch, Caldercruix, Blackridge, Armadale, Bathgate, Livingston North, Uphall and Edinburgh Park
Thereafter the contigency timetable applies, which is just 1 train per hour
And none of the timetables that have been published for A-B show it as being an hourly service on a Sunday.
yes i noticed some stations arent signed . We waitted a bit at blackridge , bloody freezing . Another thing was the pis wasent working past blackridge and announced craigendoran at edinburgh!

He made mistakes, yes, but there's some sort of perverse mindset in this country that, if something goes wrong, then someone at the top has to resign. I think it makes some people feel better. There wasn't any real need for him to resign IMO; otherwise, he's actually done quite a good job.
Happened on my train as well, only the PIS cut out after Airdrie.

I guess the problem is that if you've got a sense of pride, you may well feel you let people down and 'do the right thing', while others will not care and stay on until they're forced to go - or can get a nice golden handshake.
Who is it you'd rather see resign in such cases?
