Sorry, not got a lot of time for English Electric stuff...I am partial to the odd 20 or 37, but not 40s and 50s..

Nothing compared to 40145 though...I'd be happy to just watch that leave Buxton on its heavy load...66s and 57601? Borrrrrrrrring.

I may go out for it (if I can be bothered), take my 800mm lens to the top of Peak Forest to get it.
Not so boring when all Buxton usually gets 156s, 150s and the ocassional shed!

I prefer good old Sulzer Brush built locos. That's what comes of having Gloucester as your local station, and those shiny silver 47s

You mean those 47s, of which half don't ever seem to work?
At least you've got locos making some form of appearance at your local! All we get is 170s, 158s, 175s, the occasional 150/2 and a few locos a day on freights.
