Nope, I think they look pretty good as well!
I just wish we were getting some of them a bit less north than Scotland, ah well we wouldn't have any wires for them anyway![]()
I love 'em too!

I wonder if they're the first Scottish photos...
turns out someone beat me to it by a few minutes and got snaps of her at Shieldmuir!

I imagine Mr Stevenson'll want a big press launch.

A Class 380 is also supposed to be on static display in Platform 5 of Glasgow Central for 3 days at the end of September
The same was done when the Ayrline electrification was nearing completion, it saved a Class 318 clogging up Shields depotInteresting waste of platform capacity !!![]()
Due Monday 11 OctoberI heard the first pax run will be an evening peak train to Ayr or somewhere thats is normally a 6 car 334 and will be 8 car 380

I understand that Thameslink orders have been "postponed" but it will eventually need new stock and what about Cross Rail? (apologies if I have missed this else where)
Siemens bidded for the TL stock, but were ruled out, as was Alstom. Forgot about Crossrail![]()
I do think that it was a bad choice ruling out Siemens. Anyway, as long as Bombardier don't get it, I'm happy.
Also, they'll probably just take some pacers off northern for cross-rail
Irrespective of any other merit, not only are they new trains, they're also extra trains and extra capacity, and it's therefore nice to see them![]()
