In all seriousness, 42" HD screens are almost as cheap as more reasonably sized conventional ones.
Yes, LCD panels are not expensive these days. I doubt it's going to be a Cinema 3D with 1 billion Hz overscanning, Ultra HD resolution, iPlayer and games/apps etc..
I'm looking for a 32-inch panel to hook up to a set top box, and you can get screens for around £200! However, go up to 40-inches or so and - presumably because they're produced in larger numbers these days - they're not much more expensive. In fact, you can get some for the same money with far more features too.
