Trouble at Shrewsbury last night when 175003 working the 22:17 (off Shrewbury) Cardiff-Manchester service. It failed at Church Stretton with lack of air & gremlins in the TMS. Managed to crawl into shrewsbury just under an hour late where it was held & coupled up to 175111 which was on a manchester service following it. Leaving Shrewsbury at around 23:25 they made it all of 6 miles before both failing near Yorton station. In the process of coupling up, the bad unit had transmitted the fault to the good one. Eventually they limped back into Shrewsbury at around 01:45where the 40+ passengers were transferred to a proper unit (158838 ) & dispactched to Crewe at 02:00 for forwarding on by taxi.
175003 was attended by Alstom fitters in the platform at shrewsbury where a fault with the single electrically driven compressor was found along with mulitple electronic failure's within the unit. 175111 assisted 003 down abbey forgate yard (salop) where it was dumped till morning.
Well it was a fun night!

Unsure on routes, but I'm sure it makes its way down are way at some point, rarely pay attention to unit numbers tbh
