Any news on this unit's return to service date? Surely it must be getting close now.

I wonder if the other two Angel owned 150's (207 & 216) are in a similar condition?

Another month gone and still no sign of 150202.

Also I haven't noted 150266 since the end of November. Anyone know where it is?

I have it down in my spotters book for the 21st December I believe but I may have seen it wrong. Might have been 265 or 246.

Edit: looking at the photos I took on the 21st, I think it was 265. I don't recall seeing or noting 150246 since 15th November (my birthday!)

Depends where you were that day. I have 246 down as working Exmouth-Paignton and 265 being on the Falmouth Branch 21st Dec.

Significant body corrosion. Expect it to be at Wolverton for at least another 5 months.

150 202 is about 36 years old, it has now been away about 9 months.

I wonder how the economics of such a long repair stack up against remaining lifespan. And if this one needs work, how many more of the fleet are badly corroded too.

Currently expected to be released May 23...

It was on Exmouth/Paignton on Friday but no record of any passenger workings since then.

Any update available for 150202? Also noted that 249 hasn't been noted working for the best part of 3 weeks; presumably on some level of servicing?

The work on 202 must be costing a fortune. Are there any others that will need similar attention going forward?

Oh no. I'll be going now.
Still no sign of 202 or 249 and 207 went to St Philips Marsh earlier this week and has not been seen since.

Anyone have any news of these absentees? GWR are struggling to keep the 150 show on the road.

Which 150 should I change my name to if worst comes to worst?

I've checked my notes and apparently I haven't seen 150202 for over 2 years which doesn't seem right.

Not sure how long the 150s will last, so any name change could be short lived...:frown:

My last note of 202 in service is 18th February 2022 when it worked an Exmouth - Paignton diagram.

Wind didn't kill it off did it? That was the day affected by Storm Eunice iirc

That is how long it takes to replace the lower couple of feet of the body shell.
