Don't forget we changed the timetable in May 2018, and this means the LHCS are on quieter trains, generally.
Also, I'm really only talking Mon-Fri. Saturdays are a different beast.
Pretty much the only one that does, I think. The rest are firmly 'off peak', with the possible exception of the 0550 off Barrow, but I never see that so can't say for sure.
According to our dockets, Friday 25th January 2019 is scheduled to be the last day of class 37s on the Cumbrian Coast.
Apologies, theoretically at least the last day is scheduled to be Saturday 26th. I kinda assumed that it would still be a strike day and hence no 37s would be running.
Word on the street was that they'd be gone "in January".
No real indication as yet as to whether this is 100% still going to happen, or which bit of January it refers to.
You'll need to square that with the tweet that said "We want to keep a second person on many of our services ..." which suggests that there are at least *some* services where there is no intention to have a second person on the train.
One set goes from Barrow to Carlisle and back. Then it sits on Barrow sidings from about 11 until it comes out to work the 1532 to Carlisle and then goes to Kingmoor depot.
The other set starts at Kingmoor and then goes CARBIFCARBIFCARBIF and spends the night at Barrow.
