The growth was expected. Virgin planned to increase the lengths of the voyagers (hence the carriage labeling) once demand increased. Unfortunately, the Dft decided to reign in their spending, as other spending went over budget....
Well if you speak to any Virgin staff, the plan was always to extend the voyagers, hence the labeling of the carriages. Just a shame that the money couldn't be found to extend them all to 6 carriages. Then they could've run all the services they needed to, with reasonable capacity!! What a plan...

Causing more problems as West of England sevcies are meant to be going through Central today. I think the Chandelers Ford line is going to busy!!!
