How could I have figured this out by myself? The restriction code I linked to does not mention intermediate stations, or a 1000 Euston restriction on the return journey.
Hi all,
I need to travel from Bedford to Birmingham New Street. I am planning to buy the Off Peak Return priced at £25.40.
I have looked up the restriction code here on brfares.com. From this, it appears that (Mon-Fri):
on the outbound journey, I should be able to use any train departing 0845...
I've made it from a train in KX P0 to a train in STP LL platform A in about 4 mins. It can't be more than a kilometre.
I definitely agree that it is risky, but no risk, no reward!
This absolutely depends on what you are trying to do.
If you're just looking up train times on National Rail then yes, it's probably paranoid.

I thought this was ridiculous. Why should the group be given priority access to the train before other travellers? They hadn't paid for it. They hadn't even arranged the situation in advance with the train company. I'd have been pretty cross if I didn't get a seat because of this.
Hi everyone,
A group of us will be travelling from Oxford to Great Malvern and back this Saturday. I can see an Off Peak Day Return for £18.80 each, but I'd be grateful if anyone could confirm the following.
Is break of journey allowed on this ticket? We would like to break at Worcester...
Employee benefits are a good thing because the employee tends to value them much more highly than the cost to the employer.
Staff travel is close to costless to the employer - not because of the fallacious argument that 'the trains are running anyway', but because most employees don't make...
Nobody has explicitly pointed this out yet:
Keeping the passengers on the train presented no risks to safety.
Evacuating the passengers would have presented some risk to safety.
Safety comes first on the railway.
Whilst keeping the passengers on the train remains safe, how can anyone...
