Stephen, thank you for your original offer regarding BVE4 routes and as you stated previously you are extremely busy with your job, however like a lot of old folk I don't have time on my side, consequently I have given up hoping that I shall evre get BVE4 up and running again so all the best and...
Stephen, I have sent this message via BVE Teminus site and thought I had better send it through here as well. Thank you for uploading the routes etc. I really do appreciate your time and effort, my problem is that the link that you initially provided does not work, could you possibly contact me...
Thanks Jack, that saves me getting more confused. I have had an offer of some old BVE trains from Taffy Cross but haven't heard from him since, probably a busy chap working not like some of us retired old git's with time on our hands, I'm sure he will come through eventually.
Hey guys! I'm struggling here after a long lay off (enforced) I have managed to install all the old BVE4 files in the correct folders and now have the class 170 standing in Richwell station engine in neutral brake on etc. and all I have is a continuous warning siren, a) how do I start the engine...
Could someone tell me if an open BVE cl66 will run on the old BVE4 routes please, and if not has anyone got old BVE4 cl66 and cl151, 153 and HST files for the Richwell routes they could possibly let me have.
Algy.
Stephen, thanks for the reply and it's good to be back, and thanks for the offer of the old BVE4 routes, I have PM'd you. I would like to get myself sorted with the old BVE4 and perhaps move on to Open BVE later.
All the best.
Algy.
I have been away from BVE for a few years since my old desktop with XP installed gave up the ghost and like a lot of people had to buy a new one with Win7, I have managed to purchase a second hand laptop with XP Pro installed and loaded BVE4 on it, however although there are loads of locos...
240 Diverter, Thanks for the two new loco's must have taken a great deal of time and effort not say stress also thanks to all who contributed to your project, i'm afraid I am a user not a developer i don't possess the technical ability to create these simulated machines, I await with patience...
Have you tried downloading and running some of these Japanese diagrams, they leave quite a bit to be desired from my experience, never mind trying to communicating in japanese, I think we were very lucky in having Mr Mackoy for giving us BVE.
For the first time for a long time I went to Warrington Bank Quay station to-day, where I was informed that there were no trains running over the weekend and hadn't been for quite some time and would not be for the forseeable future and that passengers were being bussed to and from the station...

If you can go for the High Res download takes a while but well worth it, the largest of the two is an ancient 'kettle'

In BVE4 if you overshoot when stopping you are instructed to reverse or back up to the correct position, in a real time senario would a driver be entitled to back the train to that position (I would have thought that would be a dangerous practice).
Algy.
