Hey guys! I'm struggling here after a long lay off (enforced) I have managed to install all the old BVE4 files in the correct folders and now have the class 170 standing in Richwell station engine in neutral brake on etc. and all I have is a continuous warning siren, a) how do I start the engine b) how do I silence the siren, I will probably have to do this prior to starting the engine. Unfortunately the old laptop I'm using will only partially show the driving instructions on screen. Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks.
Algy.

Have you put the reverser into forward and back to neutral??
I you have then the siren is the AWS self test, you need to hit insert to cancel it.

Then with the reverser in neutral, hold key 2 (I could be wrong about this, it's ages since I've been on bve!) and you should hear the fuel pumps prime and then the engine turn over and start!

yep, Reverser to forwards and then to neutral (simulating turning DDS or similar from off to neutral). Hold down 2 to start the engines. Once they are on, set the headlights, and turn off the DRA if applicable
