East Midlands trains don't charge a postage fee for Virgin Train advance tickets so although the ticket is the same price, if you want it posted it will be £1 cheaper on the EMT website compared to Virgin. So for me, that's a yes.

Thanks. Yes, that seems to be the case. Lack of capacity due to them forcing passengers to leave later and later if they want to purchase an affordable ticket. Thereby making the peak trains quieter and the off-peak trains busier; off-peak, the new peak.

I've flied twice out of desperation but it's ridiculous for me to go to Heathrow as I work in East London. It's more expensive and takes forever when you take into account getting to and from the airports. It took an hour and a half from Heathrow to work alone.
