The fare from Coleshill Parkway To London Marylebone (Super off peak return with railcard) is £ 25.10. The same as Birmingham Moor Street To Marylebone.
As I am returning late evening from London. The journey planners wont let me purchase the return to Coleshill due to the RMT strike...
I have not read all of this thread. As JC was on his bottom. He actually said we need more trains.
Nothing about the train having enough seats.
Can we actually operate more trains from London to Newcastle on the current timetable via the ECML?
I recently traveled to London and was delayed on the first leg of the journey which resulted in a delay of 61 mins.
I duly claimed delay repay.
I received RTV's which were very much less than half the fare refund I was entitled too. I contacted the train company who acknowledged it was...
What a good job you are doing!!!!
I shall be writing to my MP in this respect and other train travel items. When you live in an electorate where the current MP has a majority of less than 50 - it is staggering how fast he answers your letters.
My wife has to travel from Birmingham to Stockport now and again. I have noted and used the Rugeley Trent Valley (via B/ham) to S/port rule to save money.
On CCT search engine no such ticket is available. Does this still exist or has the easement gone?
My daughter is at Bath Uni and has been coming back to Birmingham using split tickets at Cheltenham Spa.
The Chippenham / Droitwich Spa loophole is a fantastic saving.
The train was actually pulling into Coleshill station when her ticket was checked. When the ticket inspector actually said it to her she replied 'well my dad said it was okay'! And got off the train.
I might add she was very worried when I sent her the tickets (as she is at Uni at Bath) and...
My daughter travelled last Friday from Bath to Coleshill Parkway. Off peak return split at Cheltenham with 18-25 R/C (travelling back today.)
On the last leg of the journey from Birmingham to Coleshill 17.52 the ticket inspector informed her that off peak tickets were not valid on this...
Wife and Daughters travelled back from London Euston to Birmingham on 26th August. When the train arrived at Northampton they were told there was a staff shortage and they would have to wait 1 hour for the next service to Birmingham.
Have subsequently claimed for the delay (duly refunded) and...
I have one of these vouchers for my wife. Can she get the 09.13 from Birmingham New Street to Euston on a weekday?
Off peak is usually after 09.30 but no restrictions apply with this voucher within the Network West Midlands area. This train would therefore leave Coventry well after 09.30...
I recently had dealings with Virgin Trains in respect of a claim when the WCML was down at Penkridge (6th Dec)
I sent my claim which they received on the 9th. I called them on 23rd December to see how it was progressing. They said they were very busy, to which i replied that is not my...
Was coming back from Manchester to Birmingham with my son last March. Showed the CC guard my split ticket at Stoke. He said 'that's the way to do it'!!!!
I can buy a off peak return from Coleshill Parkway to Lancaster anyday this week (mon -Fri) for 24.00 pounds each way (F&F railcard 1 adult + 1 child). Depart 08.32 from Coleshill
But I cannot purchase a Coleshill to Preston off peak return for the same train. (next train one hour later fare...
Was as at New St trying to catch the 09.20 Virgin to Lancaster. The departure board just said delayed with an annoucement confirming the latter.
No further annoucements and people had to go looking for information. They tried to route me via Nuneaton, but that would have got me in after 1pm...
My wife has to travel at peak time next Tuesday and returning Friday also at evening peak time. I notice the only fares available are £14.30 single each way.
By entering Coleshill to Loughborough an 'anytime return' appears for £23.50
Question: Can she purchase this ticket with no intention...
