At times, with all the walking and queue's at St Pancras you could do with using the Loo even before you board the 222. :)

This problem isn't getting any better is it? Get the new Transport Minister to request 2/3 or 4 Azuma 5 cars from LNER and get a couple of 225 sets to replace them on the ECML. OK I do know it is not that simple but it is not totally unreasonable.

I fondly remember the lifts at Lancaster Station, you cannot feel them move. More than once I have thought what's wrong with the lift, it's not moved, then the doors open and you have travelled from platform to bridge level.

Reducing the proposed 360kph line speed is not a bad thing, it will give the Manchester trains enough time to reduce their speed from Handacre so they do not finish up in a field at Colwich Jct. :)

It is very demoralising when trains such as 1E21 are able to go over the joint line but the driver does not sign it. It is about time the Railway authorities got together and formed a National Rail cable theft task force to specialise in catching these offenders, many of them must be repeat...
