Cambridge South : no parking (and local CCTV is dissuade anyone from stopping near by...)

There was once a congestion charge plan for the city which unfortunately never got passed.

Cambridge South : no parking (and local CCTV is dissuade anyone from stopping near by...)

Yes it’s like this on a daily basis and exactly what I have witnessed along with what’s relayed from ex-colleagues working trains through it too. It really is such an asset to the local area and I have nothing but positivity about it.

Cambridge South : no parking (and local CCTV is dissuade anyone from stopping near by...)

Because so many travel to the biomedical campus to/from London too and the non-stop services are a boon for them too. On top of that with the nature of cycling around Cambridge it is now perfect for commuters bound for the capital who live around Trumpington, Cherry Hinton & other areas south of...

Cambridge South : no parking (and local CCTV is dissuade anyone from stopping near by...)

It’s doing phenomenally well and will in my opinion thrash its estimated 1.8m annual passenger target.

Skegness by EMR this Summer, 2 car 158s today, must be cozy

Will be interesting to follow the Birmingham to Manchester Airport via Stoke/Crewe LNR service. Will serve such a more important market than just the Northern service it replaces.

Skegness by EMR this Summer, 2 car 158s today, must be cozy

Although no social media then the complaints were prolific in the railway press and no doubt the regional passenger complaints departments.

Skegness by EMR this Summer, 2 car 158s today, must be cozy

I know and some even continued to Manchester Airport

Skegness by EMR this Summer, 2 car 158s today, must be cozy

Even in Regional Railways (& into Central Trains) days it wasn’t uncommon for single class 153s to be diagrammed to operate this route. It’s been rather an overlooked line and unfortunately I can’t see much changing in the foreseeable.

    What is a 'Mishap'?

Sometimes if control are having a particularly busy or bad day they’ll just shove anything in that’ll semi cover as a reason.

Could City Thameslink open on Sundays?

In some contrast I remember going on holiday with my parents in the early 80s and we stopped off around Liverpool Street on a weekend looking for a pub en-route to Gatwick and it was so difficult to find one open. That is no longer the case with plenty of choice and areas often buzzing unless...

Could City Thameslink open on Sundays?

Good job it isn’t then  If you can’t close stations like Shippea Hill and Teeside Airport I think it’s safe to say we‘ll see City Thameslink for a few generations yet.

Could City Thameslink open on Sundays?

Possibly but several decent size cities in the UK don’t come close to the 7.6m entry/exits this station receives.

Could City Thameslink open on Sundays?

    Was always Farringdon Southbound.

Could City Thameslink open on Sundays?

I thought that occurred at Farringdon. Is it different in either direction?

Could City Thameslink open on Sundays?

In any location other than London it would be ludicrous to have a railway station with over 7 million annual entry/exits closed on any day even if its main market is commuters. It serves a very busy tourist area too
