Hi Hopeful 2015, It appears that you going above and beyond with Virgin may hopefully have payed off for you - they may have looked upon you favourably due to you sending speculative enquiries with them earlier. Did you never hear anything back from FTPE regarding a start date?

Hi Karl998yr, Just rung HR and they confirmed the same as well. There will be no courses for Sheffield this year and they are waiting for the projections to see what next year will look like, and be in touch early next year. She did ask if I was internal or external for Sheffield...

Hi all, had my assessment day for Sheffield trainee driver today and passed. Pleased to say I will now be joining the already successful candidates and wait for a medical.

Cheers mate. Yes, but I have passed the written part of the assessment day with another TOC - so hopefully should be just doing the computer and SJT/MMI part of the assessments on Wednesday.

Congratulations both of you, fantastic position to be in. I have my assessment this Wednesday for Northern Sheffield and know there are also courses next week (as I had to rearrange my original assessment date to this week). Hopefully it is a case of just needing a few more successful candidates...
