No worries! I'm sure @Freightmaster will be following this season closely ;)

    RHTT Season 2026

Very unlikely, 3W90 is usually one of the first to start but almost always last or last but one week of September. I would estimate 28th September for a start on that one.

Derailment at Wickford - Friday 14th August 2026

Surely the question should be why the basically brand new Class 720 does not have some type of 'bogie off rail detector' to stop the train?

Great British Railways - First Train in New Livery

Do you know where the SR 158 repaints are being done?

    Network Rail Class 153

This should be a trivia question. Answer: The Class 153 VIUs are painted blue because Mark Chestney the VIU program director at Network Rail was 'scared' of Big Bird from Sesame Street as a kid!

Great British Railways - First Train in New Livery

Appears to be be Salisbury depot based on THIS.. Note the roof planels and 45 degree lights. Its also worth noting the lights on this Class 158/159 do not resemble the smaller cluster on the SR Class 158s.. GBR Blue..?

    EPR (Europhoenix Rail) - Class 60s - (Ex-ESH / DBI Rail / Land Recovery)

Big fan of this livery overall especially with the shapes and large numbers. 1787322630 The link you provided is for Europhoenix Limited. Since purchase by DBI Holdings, Europhoenix Rail Limited is a separate company.

    New GB Railfreight Railtour Company

Rail Express is reporting that: Interesting development especially since it is considering privately owned traction too!

    Network Rail Class 153

Yes, TCMU2 no longer exists, its been replaced with VIU6 which is currently the spare. Currently this VIU runs as 2Qx6. It ran as 2Q36 and 2Q46 last week in the Eastern region. Note that this method is inconsistent overall since until all VIUs are complete, they actively swap with each other.

Network Rail Class 950 to be disposed

This is correct. It wont work again since LORAM (who operate it) are ceasing their operating contract from Mid-Sept. It should be noted that a tender has been raised by NR for operating Caroline and 'TRU' - https://bidstats.uk/tenders/2026/W22/871563284#notice-descrip The 153s are operated by...
