I'm planning to take a trip to the Welsh Valley's next year.
Can anyone recommend the best rail line on the valley's network, where i could get a true feel of the valley's and get a view of past industrial sites etc, from the train.

BBC Wales website reporting a £36 million investment on re-doubling the line. It doesn't say if its the full stretch or putting in loops. Should be completed by 2015. About time!!
