Would anyone know what this train is for?

Looks like it might be some barrier coaches for moveing the TPE train that is currently there to Manchester.

are the new TPE vehicles not being stored at Holyhead until ready for service?

Could anyone explain this situation a bit more? I had no idea some of the TPE stock was being stored here in North Wales? Why? and Why Holyhead? Surely somewhere like Chester would have been nearer and they have so much space there to hold as many as needed.

Chester sidings can actually get pretty busy with lots of moves/storage there overnight, I'm not convinced they would have the space.

They are only stored there a few days. They come off a lorry and are arranged together. Then hauled to Manchester.

Its worth bearing in mind all decisions have been taken by CAF nothing to do with TPE as the stock has not been handed over yet. It is still in the early acceptance testing phase.
