Swansea cork ferries closed its route in 2006 but after much campaigning Fastnet re-opened the route. However after just a year of operation they stopped services again. Why hasn’t there been any motivation to re-open the route? Does any one have pictures of superferry when it was operating...

will Iarnród Éireann ever re-open the line? From what I can see on google maps the line appears to be intact and the station at Youghal is still there. Only the Midleton to Youghal section needs to be re-opened because Iarnród Éireann has already re-opened cork to Midleton.
