    Did Inter City stop at St Albans in the timetable

    Good evening .Tried searching on the web but to no avail. I remember as a kid in the late seventies watching at St Albans and seeing a loco hauled Inter City going north stop at St Albans and some passengers get off. Does anyone know if this was a scheduled train or an off timetable stop?
