I have noticed that the Off Peak Return from Barnham to West Hampstead (any permitted) let's me bring up an itinerary of Barnham - Victoria - Euston - Willesden Junction - West Hampstead.
But if I start my journey from Chichester, and ask for the same itinerary, journey planners say the routing...

I have been advised on Twitter that there was an overnight update and to clear my cookies and cache, but still not working.
I am posting this here, hoping that a Southern pricing manager takes notice...
A few weeks ago, there was a post about Super Off Peak tickets not being valid when they should have been:
https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/industrial-action-affecting-super-off-peak-fare-validity.258879/
This...
Back in February, these two changes were made to the routing guide; the second was to supposedly reverse the first, but as pointed out on here, it didn't. The effect since then has been that for any journey where a fare is via City Thameslink/Surrey Quays, online journey planners fail to find a...
I sometimes buy a weekly Southampton Central to Tunbridge Wells via Edenbridge/Polegate from LNER because I can get cashback. It will only sell me the ticket on paper for collection at a station.
The corresponding monthly season is available to purchase on to the Smartcard. Similarly the weekly...
I was hoping to use the LNER website (as I can get cashback) to purchase 3 tickets for a journey on Southern for next weekend and get the Groupsave discount. I can't get it to offer me the discount.
I looked at the help section and it only talks about Groupsave discount being offered on LNER...
According to the Southern website, KeyGo is meant to look at the journeys you make for a day, and then work out the cheapest price for tickets which would have covered your routing.
https://www.southernrailway.com/tickets/the-key-smartcard/keygo
In my case it has worked out the most...
Not sure when it was first announced, but I noticed on Southern's website yesterday that a "DO NOT TRAVEL" had been posted for tomorrow, Sunday, as they can't resource replacement buses.
It's not so bad for someone planning a day out along the south coast, but a significant source of passengers...
I have become a recent convert to buying e-tickets on the LNER app because it neatly shows all upcoming tickets in date order.
I work shifts at Gatwick and have taken advantage of the Sale to purchase many tickets through May from Chichester to Gatwick at £1.75 each way (with Senior Railcard)...
Who is responsible for loading Railair coach times on to the National Rail journey planner?
As you can see from the screen shot, I should have departed at 19:55. The timetable printed at the bus stop shows a 19:43 departure, and we actually left at 19:50. Checking with the driver, he said he was...
This coming weekend, the Piccadilly line is closed from Hyde Park Corner to Northfields/Uxbridge.
The TfL website is advising passengers from Heathrow to use the TfL Rail to Paddington, which is going to cost £10.10 on Oyster, compared to £3.10 for the tube journey.
Of course the passenger could...
Although I would make this journey using a contactless bank card, I am curious to know why the most logical fare is not found by the National Rail app or booking engines.
On brfares.com and on the TVMs at Croydon, there is a Croydon stations to Shoreditch High St via Surrey Quays fare at £6.60...
The typical Sunday service is for 12 coaches from Victoria to Barnham, where the train divides. The front 4 coaches form the Portsmouth service and the rear 8 are the Bognor service.
Why 8 coaches to go one stop to Bognor with a few passengers and lots of air, whilst the 4 coaches to Portsmouth...
Looking on Brfares.com for Gatwick to Cockfosters, one of the fares listed is a SDS priced at £12.40 to U2356 via New Cross Gate.
I am curious as to which is the valid route after New Cross Gate.
Are you allowed to travel via Shoreditch High St, in Zone 1?
If you can, it is also valid to have...
Just curious as to why brfares.com still lists fares for journeys to Shoreditch Underground (ZSD) as well as a different set for Shoreditch High St (SDC)?
e.g. Brighton to Shoreditch. To Shoreditch Und it gives any anytime day single of £26.50 via New Cross Gate (with the ticket actually...
During the Waterloo engineering works, Southern trains from Gatwick to Victoria are not stopping at Clapham Junc in the weekday evening peak. A recorded announcement in the ticket hall is advising passengers for Clapham Junc to "circulate via London Victoria".
Has there been any easement...
Until very recently, I could have sworn that the fares from Havant to Gatwick were set the same as from Portsmouth, in that fares via Barnham were set by Southern (eg £15.60 off peak day return) and via Clapham Junction by SWT (£35.20 off peak day return). In addition there being no through...
I regularly purchase a Super Off Peak One Day Travelcard from Portsmouth & Southsea. For the past couple of months, whenever I try to go through a gate at a tube station, it is rejected with error code 13. This error code means that there has been an underpayment of the fare...but there hasn't...
