Morning peeps
In the December 2011 edition of Railways Illustrated, on page 39 there's a picture of 47765 'Intercity' in a very worn RES livery, with a couple of lines saying that's it's going into the workshops over the winter for bodywork repairs and a repaint into ScotRail livery with a blue...
This unit has finally turned a wheel in revenue earning service after a couple of years out of service. It was out this morning coupled to 439 on 1J05 0648 from Southminster.
After being out of service for 2/3 years, 346 is due out on a test run from Clacton tomorrow. Unit was moved there earlier in the year for repair. All being well, she'll be returning to traffic on Monday.
As far as I know, there are NO plans for 321425 to move to Clacton to be repaired.
This loco is reported to be carrying DB livery now. Can anyone confirm this with a picture?
I did see a picture of it last week rubbed down at Toton.

Went past Ilford Depot today, and in the Bombardier Shed, was definiately a SWT liveried something, which looked incredibly like a Class 455. Anyone know why this unit is there? Is there any possability that it could be the one that had a Concrete Lorry fall on it?

London Overground 172 004 was out for testing today on the Gospel Oak to Barking line.
Here she is working 5T41 (1303 Barking - Gospel Oak) passing through Blackhorse Road.
