Hi, have noticed the last few occasions when passing by Polmadie Depot there’s been a CrossCountry Voyager stabled in the sidings where Lumo usually park their 222s.
Does anyone know why it’s there as I’m sure XC don’t normally use Polmadie to stable sets.
Couldn’t get a set number either...
Looks like Storm Darragh is starting to cause some interesting diversions due to the weather conditions at Gatwick.
A quick look at Flightradar shows several inbound flights being diverted to Amsterdam or Cologne.
Prompted to make this thread over the announcement from British Airways that they intend to cancel 10,300 short haul flights until October.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-62070451
Flybe have also cancelled several UK domestic flights due to late delivery of aircraft...
So it doesn’t clog the main thread, I thought it’d be interesting to create this one to discuss the effects on flights into London.
It looks like there are already several diversions in place with an Edinburgh to Heathrow returning north, a Venice to Heathrow diverting to Newcastle and some...
Not a good start to the week for Scotrail as a complete failure of communication equipment between the driver and signallers mean absolutely nothing can run through Glasgow Central or Queen Street Low Levels.

Sounds pretty serious if...
First dregs of the storm are beginning to hit Ayrshire. Started off calm but winds have been gradually picking up since 1pm. It's raining heavily here too with it due to worsen throughout the course of the evening.
What is going on over in Eastern Europe, specifically Belarus and Ukraine.
I understand the US and Nato are a bit spooked about Russia moving troops near the border of Ukraine, thinking they are preparing for an invasion. Is this likely to happen as it’s been going on for months if not years...
Hi,
Does anyone know what happened on the WCML this morning to cause delays to almost every service in/out of Euston? Even right now there are some Milton Keynes services calling only at Euston, Watford and Bletchley.
Hi,
I'm curious as to how good an experience forum members have had with GP surgeries. Mines has been relatively good even throughout the pandemic, that's if I can get through to get an appointment. Does anyone else struggle to actually get through to the Receptionist let alone get an...

This seems a little bit out of the blue given how quiet things have been with China recently (at least in my book).
Of course people seem to be misunderstanding the nuclear-powered submarine as they think it means nuclear weapons.
What is everyones...
It’s interesting to watch the battle being Boeing and Airbus continue.
Jet2 who have been predominantly Boeing have ditched them in favour of New A321Neos.
I wonder if the Max 8 groundings and delays with the 777X is still denting their rep...
Reported that there is an ongoing fire in the station building at Troon Railway Station.

From the pictures, it looks to be quite serious.

A burning question that I wanted to raise is how people are going to be dealing with climate change, which is a very real risk as seen by the horrendous heatwave across America and Canada.
How are you going to adapt your lifestyle and way of life to suit the changing climate, it's inevitable...

Has anyone on Android received any of these tests? If so, what was it like?
It has cued some comments on social media of people claiming the government is preparing us for something. Perhaps the...
Hi all, I’ve noticed there appears to be a number of southbound 1ZXX Avanti services from Glasgow Central today.
The ECS for these works in from Longsight, Polmadie and Edge Hill.
They depart at 10:00, 11:52 and 14:00.
Bizarrely, these can also be booked to travel on as they appear in the...
I decided to start writing up my trips again, it was fun and I randomly stopped for some reason.
Let's begin with an interesting one:
The absolute ordeal known as Megabus.
I enjoy coach travel a lot, but my Megabus experience on Wednesday night was almost enough to put me off for life.
Last...
Hi all,
I attempted to use the sub surface network today from Monument to Westminster only to have to wait 15 minutes for a District line train to Wimbledon, with nothing else on the board.
I looked and noticed it said signal failure at Aldgate East, but what actually happened to cause it...

What is everybodies thoughts on this? Do we think that this will be the breakthrough news of the decade, like many people are hoping? Or will it be a whimper rather than a bang.
I think that this report...

Some drama on a Ryanair flight from Athens to Vilnius today.
Does anyone know the reason behind this very random Ayr service, which is running non stop between Glasgow and Ayr according to RTT, yet on Scotrail it’s saying it’s non stop between Glasgow and Kilwinning then Kilwinning and Ayr
