Can anyone advise how easy it is to get a qualified drivers position at Skipton. I am looking at relocating from London. What other Yorkshire depots would be easy to get in?
I was driving a passenger train last night when I passed an engineering possession between Harpenden and Leagrave. On the approach to Luton Airport Parkway there were blue flashing lights attached to the OLE. I have never seen these before. Does anyone know what they are? Also Blue flashing...

Would I be correct in stating that in SLW if you cannot contact the signaller, either right or wrong direction moves, when you have failed you would lay assistance protection in the direction that gives you the quickest means of communication with the signaller? Providing the Pilotman is not on...
Contract finally arrived this morning for Trainee Driver. A big thanks to all who input on this site. I have been a lucky one, it will have taken about 10 months from application to start date for the whole process. For those still waiting keep at it, you just need that lucky break!:lol::lol::lol:
