Is the LU Framework agreement legally binding? Also is it a potential disciplinary if breached and something goes wrong? For example if someone works with say a 10 hour gap between shifts?

    Emergency plungers on the Underground?

Am I right in saying that it's only the Central and Victoria lines that have emergency train stop plungers? Also these plungers won't stop trains being driven in restricted manual, will it? Also the ones on the Jubilee line have been decommissioned, right? Why has LU done this? Also why...

Are 7 day or longer Travelcards on oyster( or paper) valid until 4.30am?

If I bought a weekly pass that expires on the 8th January would I be able to use it till 4.29am on 9th January? (Like an oyster cap which runs 4.30am to 4.29am). I imagine 23.59 on 8th January would be the last minute of validity but it would be nice to be wrong, for a change!

    Is TfL/Transport still a good career path(operationally)?

I mean TfL/Transport is a relatively well paid sector (also one of the most unionised!) however creeping privatisation and contracting seems to suggest a decline in wages in operational roles (I.E train dispatcher). Essentially it's quite a hard sector to enter - the few non - agency roles...

Down the tube? How far has the tube come since 1997?

http://https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA5rTxidF2c The trains are still packed at peaks. Victoria platforms-especially the Victoria line ones are much too small- even when the multi million investment in the station is complete! Admittedly there have been some improvements but fares have...

I don't mean wage bargaining or striking..I mean things like perks or discounts or special offers for union members Ideally any perks that would offset the membership fees for example the packaged bank accounts with freebies that make the account worth paying for!?
