I have a "Greater Anglia trains only" annual season from Cambridge to London Liverpool Street.
sometimes I change at Cheshunt and visit some friends on the Southbury loop; this section is about to be taken over by London Overground.
I'm wondering if the change to LO invalidates...
here's my situation:
I go from Whittlesford Parkway (slightly down the line from Cambridge) to Liverpool Street on the West Anglia mainline each day, and have a season ticket.
Every so often I go to Cambridge, and I buy the ticket for Whittlesford->Cambridge for something like £2 a go and go...
Any idea what these are?

I have a season for Kennett -> London Terminals, which states "ROUTE: VIA CAMBRIDGE" (not allowed to go via Ipswich).
On NRE there's an season which is a bit pricier, which is "ROUTE: ANY PERMITTED" (allowed via Ipswich).
My previous season, Newmarket -> London Terminals stated "ROUTE: ANY...
Given a choice I prefer to be on a 379 in the evenings rather than a 317!
The last (fast) train in the evening from LST that's a 379 seems to be the 1837, is this correct?

I was on this train, 2nd coach from back; in the tunnel before Potters Bar there was a huge crash/bang noise (which sounded like it was under the train), which continued for about 10 seconds inside the tunnel, and then another 20 odd seconds outside the tunnel (with the overhead lines twanging...
I've wondered what these are for a while, they appear on the wall of the edge of platforms:
the colour of the "slider" seems to vary between green and red across the network!

I purchased an annual gold card back in October for Newmarket to London Terminals from Cambridge station (operated by Greater Anglia), when I purchased it the ticket came out the clerk's printer without a photocard number, and he then wrote my photocard number in the gap with a biro...
