Trying to get to Droitwich Spa from Cambridge over Easter as cheaply as possible (arriving Droitwich at 11am on Sat 7th and leaving at 16:00 on Sunday 8th). I have a Y-P railcard.
With Advance tickets, I can get to Brum and back for £21.80-£24.50, then it's £12 Offpeak return to...
Looking for the cheapest day return on Sat 4th Feb, with YP Railcard from Cambridge to Penkridge. So far, going via London and getting Advance singles to and from Euston seems cheapest (£10.55 Cambridge London return plus two £3.95 singles to and from Stafford plus a Stafford-Penkridge return...
Departing Sat 18th Feb, returning Sunday 19th Feb.
With a 16-25 railcard, two singles are £27.10. Can I do any better than that?

Having got such good advice on my last thread, here's my next rail travel conundrum.
I need to get to Stone from Cambridge on the 17th Dec and return on either late Saturday or early Sunday 18th? Seems that going via London is cheaper because I've found advance singles from London...
Any advice? This is the best I've come up with so far.
I have a 16-25 Railcard and am planning on using the 10% NUS discount too
