Looking at fares between tamworth and rugby. An anytime day return at 10:47 is £7.25 however before this time an anytime day return is £11, both via any permitted route. Seen quite a few instances of this. Does the £7.25 ticket carry a certain restriction or would it be just as valid on services...
yesterday there was a special from Sheffield to Chesterfield at 17:59, which got me wondering who would have been responsible for organising this? and since it left 15 minutes late would the TOC have been fined in the same way as late running normal passenger service?
just looking at the live departure/arrival board for derby and noticed and arrival from liverpool lime street which continues on to nottingham at 00:21 - never noticed this before, assuming it's a one off as the same journey doesn't exist for the same day next week...
For example, when running the national rail journey planner it won't admit the 06:20 service from Derby to Sheffield exists and it won't admit a 21:30 from London St. Pancras to Derby either, instead suggesting a 21:35 departure from Euston involving two changes. Anyone else came across anything...
