Congratulations, which psychometrics have you already sat? Have you sat the MMI before? Just interested as I have sat them all before and passed them all to an enhanced standard so hoping I won’t need to again.

Also I asked about the start dates during my interview yesterday and was told that those dates were very much aspirational and they expected them to move, certainly the May date as most people have a 4 week notice period.

When you complete the psychometric tests through the OPC different operating companies ask for a pass either to a standard level or enhanced. I completed mine for a FOC that required enhanced passes which I got.

Had my interview today, felt it went pretty well we were on for 1.5 hours but both people were really lovely. Not sure when I will find out but as I have completed all the psychometric tests to an enhanced standard I can’t do anymore. Has anybody else heard anymore yet?

I know a couple of people who went through this process with XC last year and some people who completed the RAAT did not hear anything afterwards. Can only assume they were the ones who didn’t meet the grade. Of course this time around it might be different.

No I didn't I ran out of time when I was answering question 32. Like I say with all of the tests you complete for Train Driver roles they are looking for the right balance between speed and accuracy, if you get all of the questions correct but run out of time it doesn't necessarily mean you will...

I got to the exact same question and got a phone call today to invite me to interview next week. All these tests are about finding the balance between speed and accuracy so as long as you answer accurately not finishing isn’t the end of the world.

Somebody who went through it last year said they got a phone call to invite them to next steps. Those who hadn’t passed apparently didn’t hear anything. They also mentioned that the turnaround was pretty quick. Good luck.

I appear to be the only one so far who ran out of time. Just answering the last 2 and it cane to an end. Hopefully that doesn’t count me out.
