    Questions regarding visit to Lisbon

Take bus 729 over the 25th April bridge for a good view. As it is one of the yellow buses your Lisbon ticket is valid on it. It terminates at a non descript suburb on the other side of the bridge, but connects with a modern light rail network if that is of interest. You'll have to buy a...

Explosion on train at Parsons Green, 15/9/17

Conversely the open design also makes it easier to get out of the affected carriage. Would more have been trampled if it had been old D or C stock? Main thing is that we should be thankful no one has lost their life or suffered life changing physical injuries.

    Old station furniture/signs

Not all signs will be replaced, some might be covered over with vinyls to reflect the new image. Some old signs might appear on eBay, or at railway open days. Old Oak Common on Saturday had a good selection of redundant Overground signs. Alternatively try contacting SWR direct, nothing...

    Fading (Network) Railcard

I've had this happen a couple of times and had it reissued for free at the original ticket office. My current one has a strip of sellotape over the date, placed there by the issuing office

    London Underground timetable booklets.

Not a lot of point printing the bus maps of the website, they are out of date! Not only are the printed maps history, but the online ones are yet to show fairly major changes such as the recent changes along Finchley Road. The response I had from TfL about printed maps cited cost and low...

Where best to spot new class 700 units

Farringdon will be good for 700s, Blackfriars probably better for photography. There might be o e or two 345s at Liverpool Street, but only on test and not yet in great numbers. They are also only running as 7 car sets so you'd have to go and get them again when the remaining cars are added later
