    Aviation Discussion

Had an argument with someone on Facebook saying diamond time (or slack or padding) doesn't exist on the railways. Hmmm, yeah, and it really takes four minutes on some services from West Allerton to Mossley Hill. Anyway, sorry, off subject. Ha ha.

    General Knowledge Quiz

Ha ha, let me guess which one, Raining Blood? They are all by relatively well known bands. I would guess the most obscure is Colossal Rains by Paradise Lost but even they play high up the bill at metal festivals. Naked In The Rain was a popular pop song in the UK, not sure globally.

Ha ha. Staying with music here is one I would find easy but some may not. Name 5 bands from Norway. I could be wrong and everyone knows loads of bands from Norway but I'll throw it out there. Ha ha.

EU Referendum: The result and aftermath...

Cheers mate. It may not seem like it but I don't like to go randomly offending people. Ha ha. Was interesting reading your points there and they are easy to agree with. Like all of my friends who voted leave you have compelling arguments for it, some remainers are guilty of accusing every leaver...

Why is so little of the British network electrified compared to other countries?

The Trans Pennine service I got from Lockerbie to Preston the other week was far from quiet. I was sharing the space by the doors with about 10 people. Of course if you mean that on other parts of the route people are stacked on top of each other you are probably right.

    Football

Indeed. There are and have been some great shot stoppers over time who have been amazing at giving the ball back to the opposition so they can have another go. At the end of the day I would be surprised if Allison struggles with trying not to do Cruyff Turns by his own goal. It's hardly one of...

    Boris Johnson is a liability.

Anyone can be a journalist. Boris Johnson is a sh*t one. He is also a sh*t politician.

Mate, am sorry I was so stroppy, was halfway through weekend late shifts. It's not just scaffolders, it's all tradespeople that hack me off some times and my job is dealing with them constantly. Understandably to an extent they will say absolutely anything to get out of a house without an...

EU Referendum: The result and aftermath...

I really don't get your point here. What is it? People who get up earlier start work earlier and finish earlier? Who are Jakub and James? I am a desk jockey who has worked in a factory, has cleaned St Helens and Huyton bus stations along with a factory on the dock road. Do you have a point...

    Boris Johnson is a liability.

If I can clarify one thing it is that I do not think anyone has the right not to be offended. Being in to extreme metal I often wear t shirts that some, indeed many, would find extremely offensive. I do not wear them for work and would expect to be censored if I did in the sense of getting sent...

EU Referendum: The result and aftermath...

I think as home ownership has become more unobtainable you will see less and less young people becoming more conservative as they get older. I just mean that I can't see the ranks being replenished as quickly, I'm not saying that every OAP is a rabid Brexiteer.

Where would you like to see Crossrail 3 go?

Hopefully nowhere until there has been more massive investment in the rest of the country.

    Boris Johnson is a liability.

That clip was very interesting but the quotes were all very open to interpretation. Also the veil predates Islam. As for the what Johnson said he is a politician very much in the public eye and shouldn't be making pretty poor jokes about what some women are forced to or choose to wear in their...
