Why is the Age of steam engines so beloved by transport enthusiasts?

Indeed. Ha ha. Despite having been to other places with trolleybuses the only ones I have been on were in Wellington New Zealand and Valparaiso in Chile. I loved them, then ones in Wellington were surprisingly modern, the ones in Chile wonderfully vintage.

    Carillion in Liquidation

Well mate I hope all is well with you if you are involved with the situation. Not much I really can say on here about what I know (Which is very little anyway). I just know that it isn't just my office and that there is a whole supply chain involved.

    Carillion in Liquidation

I would presume that without the liquidators there doing their job it would be some kind of bizarre free for all. Don't get me wrong, I don't like it and I am uncomfortably close to what is going on.

    Carillion in Liquidation

I work for CarillionAmey which as you can probably guess from the name is a joint venture. The liquidation of Carillion is having very little impact on us and the service we provide fortunately. I am of course very sorry for the many people who are affected by this though. It is us that do the...

EU Referendum: The result and aftermath...

All the people inheriting property grew up in a very different world. Also a lot of the new builds are built where other property was knocked down.

EU Referendum: The result and aftermath...

The idea that people become more conservative is a myth, it worked for a while. That idea would work now if as time went on everyone was still able to afford property which may gradually make them become more conservative, that isn't the case.

    The Economy

It doesn't quite work like that for all taxi drivers. Uber are nothing like Black Cabs for example.

I think the lesson is don't put anything on Facebook that you wouldn't be happy to show your family, friends and your boss.
