    Class 745 Stadler FLIRTs

Looks like it. Seems the whole diagram cancelled today as a result unless they can get another loco hauled set or unit to deputise. Ironically on a day the first 90 - 90015 announced as going off lease.

So no spare unit today then?

Opinions and questions regarding Renatus 321s

As a passenger I find them cleaner and more like a 'new' train - despite a sight worsening in ride quality. But the majority of blame for poor ride had to be pointed at Network Rail. The Renatus units run fine on good tracks. In contrast the original units are tired and in a terrible state...

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

Oh yes. Plenty of 379s found on Cambridge fasts and stoppers. Seen quite a few 317s on Stansteds recently. The sooner they get rid of 317s the better. Awful rolling stock. Well past its sell by date. Had the pleasure of a 379 on a Stratford to Meridian Water shuttle too recently. Lol.

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

Looking at it logically, 317s have to go off-lease ASAP because they are not PRM compliant. So the 379s displaced by 745 are most likely to take over 317 diagrams until sufficient 720s come into service to take over those diagrams. And as far as I'm aware the 379s are signed by all West Anglia...

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

Absolutely no chance of any class 86's being brought back onto Anglia. They were falling to bits and going bang the last time round - which was why the 90s were brought in. Worst case it will be short form Renatus 321s Next people will be talking about bringing class 47's back in They can...

It is more likely that some additional 317s could be transferred from WA once the 745/1s enter service. Especially as there seem to be GEML drivers trained on them already.

    Class 745 Stadler FLIRTs

Are 755s cleared for passenger service south of Colchester? Either that or it was 4 coaches locked out of use. Or a 321 being terminated early.

It is reported 006 is out today now. Was that to replace 002? Or is it on a new diagram? Did 002 make it out again?
