    5Z00 Grand Central HST

Looks good. Grand Central have gone for a very sensible choice of colour, given the amount of clag that HSTs spit out. I dread to think how the EMT ones are going to look after a week or two if they get painted into SWT style mainline white! I agree that more yellow on the front would...

    What's your desktop background?

All the tube paraphenalia makes it look a little crowded, but I rarely use the desktop icons anyway.

woman hit by train while being sick.

Most stations do have such announcements. Purley (one stop up the line) has a nice little fanfare that they play before fast trains come through, which is difficult to miss (though probably easier if you're being sick at the time). I wonder if she was a regular at that station, if so, she...

7-day UK ALR Bash (Image Heavy)

A couple of months ago, Gizmogle and I decided that we'd use the time I'd booked off from work from 15-21 August to go for a 7-day UK bash. Having a disabled railcard allowed me to get a significant discount on an All Line Rover, and she could of course travel for free on her priv. Having...

    All Line Rover Advice Please!

Gizmogle here (Too lazy to log into my own account) Travelodges sound good, but I'm usually rather low on money, so they have to be cheap ones :p I won't really need to be staying anywhere around Manchester Piccadilly, cause I've got home at Buxton and can just hang around Picc until the first...
