Thousands of supporters leave Falmer by train for amex Brighton matches. It takes many trains to fully clear the waiting queue of fans which snakes up over the footbridge.
The length of a train has only the effect of clearing the queue faster. Nothing about safety. If a 2 car train is crammed...
Always use the Google maps on my phone whenever I drive long distances whether I need a satnav or not. Advising about delays and changes to ETA is my biggest benefit, it can route me around delays if needed.
I can see there is a plain page saying forum closed with links to the forum and login page, and then another bot checker page before taking me to the forum. Any plans to open the wnxx forum with those two blocker pages in place?

From the Metro;
It's not clear yet what caused the derailment. Apologies if there is already a thread on this.
For the historic data, No they've only done it as zips containing month by month data throughout each year, updated month by month.
As others have said it may be easier doing a FOI request.
This chap has years of data archives so he may be able to help with an export if you reach out...
Could probably, I don't trust my internet connection to be reliable enough for 24/7 constant reading from a message broker nor do I know enough about windows Lol Just tried to open up a 5gb excel file and it wouldn't even let me it's too big. Id out to rename the extension to .cbb can't be bothered
I think this would be a good place to start; without downloading you own data;

I'm my non railway related job I get paid by the hour not by how much work I get done in the said hour
I didn't realise platform staff get paid for the number of trains they dispatch LOL
The Worthing portion went to lovers walk afterwards (as booked) I'm guessing they had to swap it because the unit had need for repairs after service.
The Eastbourne continued with London workings later into the morning.
So rather than screw up a London workings the whole day it sounds simpler...
Off topic but 66710 will be running trains 26th 27th. Not sure how with the 66 as a 73 will also be required I think to couple the consist?
Source is Facebook and can be seen attached
I remember a while back on TV seeing this film with a triple decker bus. There were people sleeping but obviously the size was the problem, you couldn't get many beds in. Obviously bridge height etc probably why it didn't work out
Said this before on other threads and I'll say it again, the Brighton to Newhaven harbour service. It's not rare track but it's an opportunity to see a 377 going into marine siding and coming back out.
2C98 for day time
And 2C94 evening.
Times when the seaford branch service doesn't go to...
Yea sorry the bridge does look small so an Amazon driver may have problems.
I wouldn't even consider using one of these crossings with a vehicle. It only takes one lapse in concentration. Eg you check the light before opening the gate but forget to check the light again before actually driving...
Interesting to know how the signs could be at fault this time, assuming this is an up to date viewing
But then again, the photos in the sun article aerial view doesn't depict any visible signs from one side of the crossing at least that I can see, heck, one of the gates isn't even open
