Passengers who spread over two seats

I sit taking up two spots, a passenger gives a dirty look and stands in the aisle next to the set of seats I am on. So, I adjust myself to be in one seat, smile to the person and pat the seat next to me. They give me another dirty look, and continue to stand in the aisle next to the set of...

What triggers the please stand clear of the train message?

I thought it was time based on Southern. I've heard it at Emsworth as the train (which was shown as 1 minute late) was coming to a stand at the platform.

    What does this sign mean?

Yeah, that's the one. Sounded like "Ribena" It was nice to see those signs - don't seem to get stuff like that down round where I am.

    What does this sign mean?

I saw one while I was at Ribena, waiting (and waiting) from a train to Cardiff last year. Railway guy on the platform who was advising everyone not to bother waiting, and to get a bus, said it was because the line ended not much further up. It had an AWS ramp as well, with an ignore AWS board...

LM and West Midlands Ambulance Service (NHS Trust) - Teamwork

Being on the line in a green topped hivis? "PTS" has a totally different meaning in the ambulance world; I doubt it would be at all relevant to being lineside. Travelling without a ticket? Aiding and abetting someone else to fare evade? Isn't a scoop stretcher too long to fit in the NRCoC...

    Voyager Computer Problems

WSP is computer controlled. That's a useful thing. The "Common 455 faults" video is half an hour long. The "180 Faults and Failures" video is 13 minutes long. (That comparison does need to be taken with a pinch of salt)

Most expensive ticket you've bought or sold

I was told that a season only pays for itself if you do just over 5 return journeys a week (Gold cards notwithstanding) Guess there's a distance thing involved as well (that statement was for a fairly short distance)

Earlier train fault cancelling train but only later in journey

Was it due to a fault? Perhaps there was an issue with train crew (end of shift/hours/sickness) which meant that they had to stop at Surbiton and there was no relief available?

    Improved solent network

Because the council only want to invest in their pet projects, leaving everything else a victim to mismanagement. Let's invest a load of money into the privately owned Pyramids centre. Let's leave the pier to ruin. Let's close most of the public conveniences Let's have Obama over for DDay...

Scariest Thing You Do As A Driver

How to appeal a Penalty Fare in style

10/10 for effort, and the FGW twitter team at least has a sense of humour. Maybe this team does as well? Is that a real thing, or could it perhaps be a fake?
