Hi all, Firstly - mods feel free to move this thread as and where it is relevant. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good sites which cover historical headcodes - I ideally need from the start of 2022 to 2024. I'm updating my Railmiles and journeys which were taken whilst engineering works...

Old logo, presumably what they had lying spare. Will be re-done into a full SE livery in due course

I would guess so. The first Avanti pendolino took well over 6 months to finish, by the end they were churning them out 1 a fortnight (?).

Have you got a picture?

Anyone know why they got rid of the orange at the bottom? Looks a lot better with it on…

Hi all, Is there a reason why the line between Glasgow and Anniesland via Maryhill isn’t electrified? To me it seems like such an obvious infill, but is this on the cards, or is there a reason it hasn’t been done. Appreciate all your responses :)

Most of Avanti isn’t upstream yet so hold tight…

Lumo, Grand Central and Hull trains are up

Thing that gets me about this hike is that it costs Avanti next to nothing to run it, no complimentary products etc. Excellent money-maker

I mean it rattles a bit when going over potholes (they’re rife in SE london) but nothing I’ve not seen before

Greater Anglia, TPE and Northern are up

The BYDs are actually really nice, quick off the mark and a genuine improvement to what we had before… the bell chime is a bit ear-piercing though

Id hope that they do, and that (if common sense prevails), they will give Goole some more work to do with their new order

It’s a shame the 376s aren’t getting toilets… https://x.com/modern_railways/status/1879443884536893555?s=46&t=v-EG8IN4HKevCou-aZfq8w

Forgot about that, knew there would be something haha

Could it be at all possible to extend 4 shenfield-Paddington terminators to Heathrow and run fast?

Is the Ashington line on the Tyne and Tees ranger?

Not sure if it’s related but 2 Hayes line trains are diverting to Bromley South tonight (same yesterday and tomorrow)

I do wonder if SE will fit screens to the 375s (akin to the 377s)

Yeah, no doubt they’ll be trashed soon though
