    Would a western access route to manchester airport help in any way ? Trains could then be extended to Chester or Crewe , reducing platform requirements at Manchester airport.

    Why not link it to a Euston to Birmingham service therefore a direct service is retained albeit slower and it would provide links to Coventry from destinations beyond Birmingham and also provides a much faster link to Birmingham international than the present TFW rail service

    I think the idea of a Llandudno to holyhead stopping service is good as it could allow the request stops to be removed from the longer distance trains But amlwch - dogellau on a tram sounds uncomfortable.

    A travel card like the ones in London for the entire network would be great , it could also be used for connecting bus and tram services.

    In that case then could it be constructed underground with lifts connecting to the station. Wasn't aware they were still in use mainly because I rarely visit at night i apologise for my ignorance.

    Could a new car park be constructed on the sidings beyond platform 7 ? They seem rarely used.
