170503/4/12/15, unless on the Shrewsbury line, have been stopped and ready for refurbishment according to a guard. this is reinforced by the fact they haven't been seen for a few weeks on the Worcester line, but as i said, could be on the Shrewsbury line.

i believe it still is RA7 - there was a one off in 2016 i believe when freight was diverted over the route, and a class 67 was used for driver training connected with it, and i think they are RA8

The Class 455's in technicality are just the 3rd rail version of the 317. Both originate from around the same time. However, it's madness that even though the 455s have just had an AC traction motor revamp and full refurbishment, they are still probably going to head for scrap as I don't believe...
