Just noticed this thread. I looked up the listing and registered a query with eBay regarding their sale on the site. I will hopefully get a definitive answer in the near future and post it here.

Similarly, an east-north chord for the Birch Coppice branch at Kingsbury is also detailed in CP5. Currently the Kingsbury oil trains occupy the lines for up to 15 minutes at a time. It would be a great help in improving capacity on this stretch and complement changes at Water Orton.

No, sorry! There tends to be a few people around there, especially when steam railtours are due. Trinity Road bridge isn't regarded as the best photo spot, just a little convenient!

Hi! I was on the 1846 London Midland EUS to CRE service earlier and we passed A 67 pulling black/red virgin coaches around Harrow & Wealdstone, then later by Hemel. Lots of red and white scarves (and happy faces!) so I think they got back fine.

Oh, I see. Do they not have the corridor connectors similar to the new London Midland 172's? This train was similar to a 170 at the front & back.

Hi! Just spotted an 2-car Chiltern Trains DMU (possibly a 165) passing through Kingsbury towards Tamworth, at about 16.31. It was moving quite slowly but was well hidden due to the dense foiliage along the line where I live. I assume it is off for service/repair but would appreciate more info...

Unfortunately there were no reservations generated for the VT service. I only discovered that it was a VT service when I collected the tickets from the TVM and rechecked the itinerary.

Not always. A few months ago I booked a (Saturday) day return from Marston Green To London Euston, London Midland only (for cheapest option). It required a change at Birmingham International for a train to Euston. However, when I collected the tickets, the leg from BMI was a Virgin Trains...
