I pretended to book a Leeds-Blackpool day return on Northern for tomorrow choosing the Blackpool (any) option and its choices defaulted to Blackpool North. That was what I faced when I wanted to travel to Blackpool visiting Blackpool FC's ground which is nearer to South station rather than North.

I put in details from Leeds to Blackpool using Northern's website, they offer the Blackpool (any) choice too, I'll bear that in mind when I want to travel there. I'll try and find out if this option is available at the TVMs in Leeds.

It's about a mile from Perry Barr station along the A34 to Alexander Stadium. Otherwise the Sprint bus rapid transit service (expected next year) or National Express West Midlands 51 will take you to near the stadium
